OUR THOUGHTS
This is the place to stay if the Magic Kingdom is your main stop during your trip. The Tower feels like an extension of the park with it being a 5-minute walk back to your room. It takes more time to walk to Fantasyland from Main Street then it does to walk back to your room!
WHAT WE FOUND MAGICAL ABOUT OUR ACCOMMODATIONS:
The size of this room is impressive! The total sq. footage is 1152 and this gives everyone plenty of space to make this villa their own. Another bonus is this villa has 3 full bathrooms which allows guests ample space to get ready and make it to rope drop on time! This serves families as well since 2 of the baths have tubs and the master bath is equipped with a large spa tub where 2 to 3 littles can wash up at the same time. The sleeping arrangements for this villa is a King in the Master Suite, 2 queen beds in the second bedroom, a pull-out couch, and a sleeper chair in the living room. Best to leave the living room to kids or teenagers!
You also get a full kitchen with all the utensils and cookware needed to make full meals for your family and friends. This can be a big money saver for your trip!
WHAT NEEDS A LITTLE PIXIE DUST?
The only pixie dust item would have to be the décor. Currently, it is right on the edge of having that outdated feeling, with the last soft goods renovation taking place in 2016. With the refurb of its sister resort, The Contemporary, being completed in 2021, this will become more apparent to those staying in the tower.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Multi-generational and large families will feel right at home in this villa. The proximity to the Magic Kingdom and monorail makes it a prime location for World Travelers. There are multiple places to dine nearby at The Contemporary resort including quick-service, character, and signature restaurants. Bay Lake Tower also has its own pool with a great water slide! The theme park view is perfect for those who want to watch the fireworks but feel more comfortable away from the intense crowds during the show.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR STAYS HERE
Use Instacart or another grocery delivery service. If you are not at the resort when the order arrives, Bell Services will hold it for you to pick up later. They will even keep your cold items stored in a refrigerator. Remember to buy extra paper towels, and you might want to add coffee filters if you are bringing your own coffee! This villa has a standard drip coffee pot.
WOULD WE DO THIS AGAIN?
Most definitely!
